       .      Tehran (Iran) Conference on Integrated Water Resources Management in Islamic Countries                (19-20 Feb.),

·         Bergen (Norway) Post Doctoral exchange of professionals from the Nile basin (8-9 Feb.),

·         Under the patronage of his Excellency Minister Dr. Mahmoud Abu Zeid, the RCWE organized a lecture given by Professor Dr. Aly Nour El-Din on the 1st of March 2007 at the Headquarter of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. Dr. Nour El-Din (Former Water Expert in the UN ) gave a fair account of water scientific evidences, as enshrined in the Holy Qur’an.  He made an excellent presentation to show the relationship between water use ethics emanated from RCWE Water Code of ethics and the scientific concepts of water in the Holy Qur'an .

It was focused on five ethical values that are: Human Dignity – Solidarity – Participation – Stewardship – Utilization. These values were explained each in sequence and demonstrated by verses "Ayat" from Qur'an in a smooth explanation based on scientific concepts and supported with current subjects as the modern water usages in industry, transportation, health and energy.

·        Field study visits to the city of Tanta, El Minya , El Fayoum on January-May 2007 for a competition of best ethical practices (success stories) among Water Users Organizations in these governorates.

·        Workshop on (Dialogue and Its Tools), 6 June 2007, for young professionals, in Delta Barrage, Cairo.

·         Ruling for bringing about the first 5 best practices of Water Users Organizations,19 July 2007.

·        Tripoli, (Libya), Expert Meeting on Environmental Ethics", 19-21 June 2007.
