1. A symposium for Young engineers was held on Wednesday, 18/2/2009 entitled "The development of the River Nile islands and the impact of human interventions" which organized by the Nile Research Institute in collaboration with the Regional Center for water ethics in the meetings Hall at Al Qanatir compound institutions, the Regional Center for water ethics presented a presentation entitled "infringe on the islands of the Nile: the ethics of dealing with these abuses."

The most important messages that were confirmed by Workshop:

2. Ongoing training in the problem-solving manner, by team work, with prevent individual work

3. The study and research are individual initiatives to access to solve problems

4. The importance of completing such those seminars for the rehabilitation of the cadres of engineers, to the role of leadership

6. Completing a Research Paper entitled “ Leadership in A Changing World of Water Management”, By Dr. Magdy Hefny and  Eng. Heba Kamal ( 23 November 2009)

Participation in Conference entitled “Capacity Building in Urban Water Management Under Water Scarcity Conditions” and  the Research Paper is: “ Creating the Water Organization that learns and Manage through Knowledge Generation and Exchange in the Arab Region” (Oman, Muscat, 13-15 December 2009).

8.  Participation in a workshop of the joint study implemented by the National Water Research Center with the support of FAO entitled  “ Detailed Investment Reviews for Egypt (Water Projects for Agriculture and Energy), in Nile Valley Hall in Delta Barrage , 8 December 2009.
